Classification of API 5CT oil casing:
API oil casing can be divided into seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes. Welded steel pipes mainly refer to straight seam steel pipes. Large-diameter oil casing is generally submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes (
ERW Casing). The main application countries of this product are mainly distributed in the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
API oil casing can be divided into three specifications: R-1, R-2 and R-3 according to different lengths. That is, R-1 is 4.88~7.62m, R-2 is 7.62~10.36m, and R-3 is 10.36m or longer.
API 5CT oil casing inspection:
In extreme high temperature and high pressure environments, pipelines made of petroleum casing materials have their own unique natural advantages. API5CT petroleum casing must undergo flattening test, tensile test, impact test, tensile test and other related inspections from raw materials to products before leaving the factory.
In the claim cases, there have been appearance defects such as black buckles and threaded buckle damage, folding of the pipe body, broken buckles and thread tightness, and excessive J value of the coupling, as well as internal quality problems such as casing brittleness and low yield strength.
API 5CT oil casing steel grade:
According to the strength of the steel itself, casing can be divided into different steel grades, namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150, etc. Different well conditions and well depths require different steel grades. In corrosive environments, the casing itself is also required to have corrosion resistance. API seamless steel pipes also require casings to have collapse resistance in places with complex geological conditions. The pumping pipe mainly transports oil and gas from the bottom of the oil well to the surface.
