1) Tube appearance inspection
There are two kinds of raw material sources for casing
tube blanks, one is seamless tube blank, and the other is ERW tube blank. The above blanks should be inspected as follows:
The whole pipe body is smooth and clean, and there are no obvious bumps, wrinkles, pits and other defects; if it is an ERW steel pipe
, it should be checked whether the burr inside and outside the weld is scraped clean and the weld bead is smooth. Whether the nozzle has bumps, burrs on the inside and outside of the laminate, whether the flat chamfer is smooth and the chamfer meets the requirements; if it is an ERW pipe, it should be checked whether there is a weld crack in the nozzle.
Measure the inner and outer diameter dimensions, wall thickness and unevenness, cutting slope, ovality, and straightness of the steel pipe to determine whether the accuracy meets the requirements. Whether there is obvious dirt on the inner and outer surfaces of the tube.
If the steel pipe has the above problems, it will be transferred to other processes for further repair processing. If the defect cannot be repaired, the steel pipe will be judged as scrap and disposed of separately.
Before the pipe body enters the production line, the surface rust should be removed with a rust remover to prevent the pipe body from being sprayed after the wire processing. The result of rust removal shall be that the entire body of the pipe body is covered without rust, and no rust spots or dirt may be left.
If rust cannot be removed, the pipe body must not enter the next process and should be transferred to other processes for further grinding. If the corrosion has penetrated deep into the body and cannot be repaired, the steel pipe will be judged as a scrap and treated separately.
3) Pipe blank full pipe inspection
Mainly inspect the cracks and non-metallic inclusions of the base material of the tube blank. This process must strictly implement the API 5CT standard. This sequence is automatically detected by the eddy current flaw detector, and it should be marked in time after the device alarms, and the defective steel pipe is judged to be a waste product, and treated separately.
