What are the Processes of Seamless Pipe before Galvanizing?

The pre-treatment process of seamless pipe galvanizing includes five processes: alkali washing, pickling, rinsing, soaking aid, and drying. The following galvanized seamless pipe manufacturers will give you a detailed introduction.
1. There are oil stains on the surface of some seamless pipes, which require alkaline washing.
2. Use hydrochloric acid for pickling to remove the oxide scale on the surface of the seamless pipe.
3. In order to remove the residual acid and iron salt attached to the surface of the steel pipe, the seamless pipe needs to be rinsed twice.
4. The function of the flux is to remove all impurities from the surface of the seamless pipe, to ensure that the steel pipe is in clean contact with the zinc liquid and form a good coating.

5. In order to prevent the blasting phenomenon of steel pipe immersed in the zinc pot, it is necessary to dry the seamless pipe coated with flux. The drying temperature is 120-200℃ and the time is not less than 150s.

Hardness is a measure of the hardness of the galvanized seamless pipe material. At present, the commonly used method for measuring hardness in production is the indentation hardness method, which uses a certain geometric indenter to press into the surface of the seamless pipe material to be tested under a certain load, and the hardness value is determined according to the degree of indentation.

Strength refers to the performance of galvanized seamless pipe material against damage (excessive plastic deformation or fracture) under static load. Since the load acts in the form of tension, compression, bending, shearing, etc., the strength is also divided into tensile strength, compressive strength, bending strength, and shear strength. There is often a certain relationship between various strengths, and tensile strength is generally used as the basic strength indicator in use.
