When to choose 304 stainless steel:

 

1. Good corrosion resistance: If your application requires the material to have excellent corrosion resistance, especially in general atmospheric environments and acidic conditions, then 304 stainless steel may be more suitable. Due to its high nickel and chromium content, 304 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for occasions with high requirements on hygiene performance, such as food processing, medical equipment, chemical industry, and architectural decoration.

2. Cold working and forming requirements: 304 stainless steel has high ductility and plasticity, and is easy to cold work and form. If you need to manufacture parts with complex shapes, or have high requirements on the plasticity and formability of the material, then 304 stainless steel may be more suitable.

3. Excellent toughness: 304 stainless steel has good toughness and can perform well under high loads and impact loads. If your application scenario requires the material to have good impact resistance, then 304 stainless steel may be a better choice.
